Tony founded Cornerstone Initiatives in 2004 for the purpose of offering  C12 programs in the Greater Charlotte business community.  His mission "Moving businesses, through those who lead them, onto God's agenda releasing the transforming power of Jesus Christ into all those they touch. His Vision for Greater Charlotte "Integrated lives, Transformed businesses and Eternal success!"

Tony enjoyed a successful career of increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing and general management in both large corporations and smaller entrepreneurial companies.  Starting with the Quaker State Corporation, he advanced through a number of assignments to the position of leading their worldwide independent distributor business, representing one-third of this Fortune 500 Company’s total business.  Tony was later recruited by Black & Decker to lead its new Automotive Sales Division.  Constantly finding himself in the middle of corporate start-ups and turnaround situations, Tony was attracted to seek smaller entrepreneurial companies and the role of partner and owner.  This provided relevant experience for him to share with others across a range of consumer and industrial markets, products and services.

As C12 Chair, he enthusiastically serves marketplace leaders, sharing his love of business strategy and performance, integrated into his foundation of faith.  Tony also speaks with business groups, challenging them to discover “How big is your God?”  He reminds us that all parts of our life - including our work - belong to God, so we might serve His purpose and take concrete actions to achieve measurable results from an eternal perspective.

The love and relationship of his family - wife Sheila, daughters Rebecca and her husband Neal, Laura and her husband Jon and Taryn plus grandsons- Ethan and Mathew gives Tony daily opportunities to “rejoice and be glad” from their home in Waxhaw, NC.

“For we are God’s Workmanship, His Masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10).
