“Stand fast!” 

Why is it that in the heat of the battle, when our walk must match our talk, we often struggle to stand on what we believe? We most often know the right thing to do, yet feel incapable of seeing how that right thing can be possible given our present circumstances - whatever they might be. Our perspective often is limited by our own resources and abilities, and we forget what we know so well, that with God all things are possible.

Commit with me now as we travel through this month together as a C12 Group that we will this time “not doubt our beliefs and believe our doubts” but instead “we will doubt our doubts and believe our beliefs!” And our actions will show it!

DEVOTION: Standing in His Peace (Ro 5:1-2) - Scripture challenges us to “stand” in the Lord more than 400 times!  As those who are at peace with God, we have the privilege of standing in His grace as we struggle against our sinful nature.  The power, security and purpose of our relationship with Christ help us to stand through life’s ups and downs.

Working ‘on’ my MINISTRY in God’s Business: Seeing the Glory of God in the Moment  -  Taking each moment captive to Christ involves living moment-by-moment knowing that the great I AM is always with us.  God’s presence and provision give us freedom in the heat of the battle to respond in God-honoring ways.  This speaks loudly to those around us and helps us to make the most of our God-given circumstances.
